After a week of no games, the Yankees played a four game homestand
against the legendary Toledo Mud Hens. The 4th game was a day game, so
no pics. I'll get to the 30th later.
My first shots
were from the outfield fence. I had to use all 200mm just to get a few
shots of this run down. They got him (in the second pic), and it wasn't
even close.
The
next shot's nice, mostly because I caught the ball on its way to the
First baseman. Runner is obviously too late for "safe".
The
next two are of Francisco Cervelli hitting a home run and then his joy
as he heads back to the dugout. There's some speculation that
Cervelli's going to be called up soon because he's playing well, and the
current catcher isn't. I honestly don't know, the only baseball I'm
following is at Frontier Field.
May
29th brought more baseball. An absolutely perfect day for it. I was
able to stay a little longer because I didn't have to rush home. This
means lots o' pics. Clock says 12:54 a.m. I think I'm just going to
drop them all off and add commentary later if I can. Enjoy!

I only stuck around one inning. Got a few good shots, but so many
are of guys at bat... trying to keep it fresh and interesting. Unless I
catch a guy slamming a home run, or something really interesting, the
"guy at bat" shot won't be a frequent feature any more.
First, a nice close-up of a Toledo Mud Hen ready to swing:
This next one is of a Yankee taking off after getting a hit:
